Bring forth the deluge
I'll be doing my final DJ set at Chaos AD.



After much consideration, I'm hanging up the headphones. My real reason is that this year will mark Brisbane's 'harder' dance scene with an untimely diminishing of quality. There is promoter drama left right and centre that is leading back to shifts in the scene reminiscent of the System 6 vs Advent*jah era. As well as that, Freeform hasn't received much love lately (from producers), it's sole creator turned to cheese and the offshoots are following.. Finland leads the revolution in the Dark Freeform circuit and has garnered muchos adoration from me as it touched both on the freeform and 'dark' style that I love. So what better way to find music you love than to create it?

It's also time to grow up and stop raving. Or at least do it in a fashion where it isn't the sole essence of my 'going out' time. Time to try new things and whatnot. I don't dare say I won't ever set foot inside one again, just change so that it's more of a 'off the bat' kind of thing instead of something I plan all month for. Then if I get my shit together I'll come back with a live act instead.

I'm telling everyone that I'm retreating so I can do production, which is true, but isn't my sole reason for stopping.

Anyway, I'm playing 3am-4am.. so if you're a night creature or out and about.. and wouldn't say no to Das Beat.. then pay me a visit!
